About Warrant

Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Rising out of the thriving Sunset Strip scene, they broke into the mainstream with their double‑platinum debut Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich (1989), powered by the hit single “Heaven”, which reached the top of rock charts and climbed the Billboard Hot 100.

In 1990, Warrant released Cherry Pie, another double‑platinum album whose title track became one of the defining anthems of the hair metal era.
